Taylor started writing Speak Now when she was 18 right after she released Fearless and she finsied it when she was 20 but Speak Now (Taylors Version) Came out July 7th, 2023.
Taylor wrote this song about a few diffrent people and many diffrent situations.
For expamle she wrote Back To December about Taylor Lautner.
Taylor Lautner is the twilight star that played Jacob Black he and taylor swfit dated for 2 months in 2009.
Taylor says this is the only apology song she has written because she feels like it's the only apology she owed at the time.
She also wrote Dear John about John Mayers. John and Taylor briefly dated in 2010 when Taylor was 19 and John was 32.
Another song she wrote was Better Than Revenge and she wrote it about a girl who stole her boyfriend from her I quote "She may not rember it but I certainly do."
With in the first 4 days of the Taylors Version realese the album sold over 400,000 albums.
